1-4 Installing the Battery Pack

4. If you have selected the CD-ROM slot, slide the supplied blank battery filler

cover into place as shown. This cover is not needed for the floppy disk drive.

5. With the bottom of the battery pack facing up, insert the connector into the

notebook.

When the battery pack clicks into place, slide the retaining levers outward.

When using the battery pack for the first time, connect the notebook to an AC power

source and charge the battery pack fully.
