Connecting to a PC Card modem
Be sure to use only a recommended PC Card modem.
Using card modems that are not recommended may
result in damage to the main unit and/or loss of data. If
you are not sure whether a particular modem is
compatible, consult your SHARP dealer.
You also need the modular telephone cable supplied
with the modem to complete the steps below.
1.
Make sure the unit is turned off.
2.
Insert the PC Card into the PC Card slot on
the side of the unit.
3.
With the supplied modular cable, connect the
modem to a telephone outlet or a cellular
phone.
4.
Turn on the unit.
