Preparation

Inserting and Removing a

Card

You can use an SD Memory Card (commer-

cially available) or a MultiMediaCard (only

supplied with VL-NZ10) for storing still images.

Removing a Card

Perform steps 1 and 2 above, push the card

(1) and pull the card straight out (2) as shown

below.

Notes:

• You can use only the SD Memory Card or the

MultiMediaCard (see page 86).

• The MultiMediaCard supplied with VL-NZ10 is

preformatted for immediate use.

• See pages 88 and 89 for more information on the

cards intended for use with this camcorder.

Caution:

• Do not remove the card from the camcorder

while recording data on the card (S indicator

flashes during recording). This may delete the

recorded image or damage the card.

Inserting a Card

1 Make sure that the Power

switch is set to OFF.

2 Slide the card slot cover release and

open the card slot cover in the direction

of the arrow.

3 Insert a card into the slot as shown

below, and push it in as far as it will go.

4 Close the card slot cover.
