Changing the Language

for the On-screen

Display

Available in w, [, ], ;, ', ,, . or = mode

This camera allows you to choose English,

German, French, Spanish or Japanese as the

on-screen display language. To change the

language for on-screen display, perform the

steps below. The default language setting is

English.

1 Press the Power button until the camera

turns on.

2 Press the MENU button until the menu

screen appears.

3 Press l or m on the operation button

to select “~”, then press the SET

button.

4 Press l or m to select “LANGUAGE”,

then press the SET button.

• “LANGUAGE” menu is “SPRACHE” in

German, “LANGUE” in French,

“IDIOMA” in Spanish or “-” in

Japanese.

5 Press l or m to select the desired

language, then press the SET button.

• The menu screen displays in the

language selected.

6 Press the MENU button to turn off the

menu screen.

• The operation procedures in this manual are

based on using the English on-screen

displays.
